ABOUT
Amsterdam is versatile in use and aesthetic, making it perfectly suitable for chopping, serving and display. The boards are made of small planks, which are leftovers from responsibly harvested walnut wood used for manufacturing furniture. Motifs are applied by a skilled craftsman, using traditional tools and methods. This makes each board a unique, one of a kind statement. The boards are made using non-toxic glues and oils, ensuring safety for you and your family.
This product is made by Waga Wood, a small company located in Konjic (Bosnia and Herzegovina). Konjic is known for its century-long woodcarving tradition, which is even inscribed on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. By using these boards, you contribute to preserving the traditional art of woodcarving and you support local communities in passing on this craft to the next generations.
